1. About this statement
This Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) explains what Gig-Set-GO does, what it costs, how your information is handled, and the limits of the service. It is general information only — it is not financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it doesn't take your personal circumstances into account.
Gig-Set-GO is an Australian-built platform for live music: it connects acts, venues, organisers and booking agents, and helps them run bookings, setlists, payments, super and accounting in one place.
2. What the platform offers
- Bookings and gigs — venues and organisers book acts directly, with agreed terms (fees, GST treatment, super) locked in before the booking is confirmed.
- Stage Connect — setlists, backing tracks and on-stage tools for live performance.
- Stem Studio — AI separation of a finished mix into six stems, charged from a prepaid credit wallet. See the stem splitting product disclosure for full details.
- Money tools — invoicing, performer splits, BAS working figures and accounting exports for Xero and MYOB.
- Payday Super — calculation and tracking of the 12% super guarantee on performer payments, with manual and automated remittance options.
- Agent tools — roster, event and settlement management for booking agents and agencies.
- LinkSetGo — public profile pages for acts to share their music and availability.
3. What Gig-Set-GO is not
- Gig-Set-GO is not a withholding agent, not a deemed supplier and not your tax agent. It calculates and records GST, PAYG withholding and super, but does not withhold, remit or lodge anything to the ATO on your behalf. See Tax and your obligations.
- Gig-Set-GO is not a bank or a financial product provider. Payments between venues, acts and performers are processed by regulated payment providers; Gig Set GO does not hold your money.
- Figures shown in the app are working figures to help you and your accountant — they are not lodgement advice.
4. Banking and superannuation details
We do not collect or store your full banking credentials. Gig-Set-GO never asks for online banking passwords, card PINs or internet banking logins, and payment card details are handled directly by our regulated payment processors — they never touch our servers.
Where you choose to receive payouts, we store only the minimum needed to pay you: your BSB, account number and account name. Only the last four digits of your account number are ever shown back to you. Superannuation details (fund name, USI and member number) are stored solely so super obligations can be calculated and remitted, and are visible only to you and the act that pays you.
5. Privacy and identifying information
Gig-Set-GO handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). In practice that means:
- We collect only the identifying information needed to run your account and meet legal obligations — typically your name, email address, and (where you choose to provide them) your ABN, payout bank details and super fund details.
- Your information is used to provide the service — bookings, payments, tax and super records — and is not sold to third parties.
- Information is shared only where needed to deliver the service (for example, payment processors, AI audio processing for stem splitting, or the other party to your booking), or where the law requires it.
- You can access, correct or delete your personal information from your account settings, including a full account deletion option.
- Data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest, and access within the platform is restricted so each account sees only its own records.
6. Fees and charges
- Subscription plans are billed monthly, with a free tier for solo acts. Current pricing is on the pricing page.
- A platform fee applies to payments processed through the platform; the rate is shown before you confirm and on each invoice.
- Stem Studio uses a prepaid credit wallet — you top up, and each split draws from your balance at the price shown before you confirm.
- All fees are invoiced to you with GST itemised.
7. Things to be aware of
- You remain responsible for your own tax, GST, PAYG withholding and super obligations — the platform helps you calculate and track them, but lodgement and payment are yours.
- AI stem separation is an estimate made by a model; quality varies with the recording.
- Payment processing depends on third-party providers; bank transfers and payouts can be delayed by the banking system.
- The platform is provided "as is"; we work hard to keep it available and accurate, but you should keep your own records and verify figures with your accountant.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this statement as the platform evolves; the current version is always on this page. Questions about the service or your information can be raised through the Help Centre.
