Bookkeeping — built for live music

Your gig money, sorted — invoices, expenses, splits & super in one place

Gig-Set-GO Bookkeeping follows Australian tax rules for you: GST on every invoice, ABN checks on every expense, and a locked, tamper-evident record once you reconcile.

1. Everything your books need

Invoices & instant PDFs
GST-aware tax invoices with automatic numbering and payment status. Print or save as PDF in one click.
ABN lookup on expenses
Enter a valid ABN and the supplier's name and GST status fill in for you — manual entry always allowed.
Reconcile & lock
Delete mistakes before reconciliation. Once reconciled, entries lock and are adjusted only by credit or debit notes.
Splits, PAYG & super
Performer splits worked out for you, a 47% no-ABN withholding warning, and Payday Super kept visible.
BAS ready
GST collected and paid summed by quarter, so your BAS figures are waiting when you need them.
Accountant exports
Clean exports for Xero or MYOB. Your accountant gets the numbers, not a shoebox of receipts.

Expenses with ABN lookup

Expenses & tax claims
Records you added by hand can be deleted until they're reconciled. Once reconciled they're locked — adjust them with a credit or debit note instead. Records are kept for 5 years, as the ATO requires.

4. Questions

Does Gig-Set-GO lodge my BAS or pay my tax?

No. Gig-Set-GO works out GST, PAYG withholding and super and keeps the records, but you (or your accountant) lodge and pay. See our tax guide for the full picture.

Can I delete an invoice or expense?

Yes — any entry you added by hand can be deleted until it's reconciled. After reconciliation it's locked, and changes are made with a credit or debit note so the history stays intact.

How does the ABN lookup work?

Type a supplier's ABN when logging an expense. If it's valid, we look it up on the Australian Business Register and suggest the business name and GST status. You can always type your own.

Can my accountant use it?

Yes. Export your ledger, BAS summary and reports in formats ready for Xero or MYOB, and pick which one you use in settings.

Is it the same for venues and agents?

One workspace adapts to your role: acts see splits and super for their performers, venues see bills and super mandates, and agents see commission across all their acts.
