When a venue books an act it can send a firm request, a 24-hour hold or a 48-hour hold. A hold reserves the date but creates no gig, invoice or super. Both sides see a countdown. The act accepts the hold to turn it into a confirmed gig. If nobody accepts in time, the hold lapses on its own and can no longer be accepted. To place one: open the act's booking page, choose the hold length, add the date, set times and fee, then send. Download the step-by-step PDF from the Gig Planner How To guide.
