From 1 July 2026, super has to be paid at the same time as wages. GigSetGo works the obligation out for you at the point you build the gig.
What happens
- Each performer on a gig is assessed on their own facts: sole traders and individuals attract super, incorporated (Pty Ltd) entities do not, and performers under 18 working 30 hours or less a week are exempt.
- The Performer Split view shows Fee, GST, Super and Net side by side so nothing is a surprise.
- The venue invoice carries the engagement detail and a super compliance statement.
- Each obligation is tracked through its own state — pending, queued, submitted, confirmed — with a due date, and discrepancies between what you remit and what the venue expects are flagged automatically.
Rates (SG percentage and GST) come from the platform settings, so they stay current without you editing anything.
